Attendance Policy

If you are aware in advance that your student is going to be absent from school for any reason (religious holiday, doctor’s appointments, etc.), please let the Attendance Office know as soon as possible. An email or a note is best greenwood.attendance@seattleschools.org, but a message on the Attendance Hotline works as well. Likewise, if your student is absent from school due to illness, please call the recorded Attendance Hotline anytime before 10 AM. The Greenwood Attendance Line is: 206-252-1404

Also, please note that family vacations are not excused absences. They require advance notice with a pre-planned absence form, which can be found in the main office. If you have any questions, feel free to call or email the front office.
